The Right Job

As my last post on a blog (at least for English) I will talk about some really important thing about jobs.
What is the right job?

To answer to that question I should ask first: what is a job for you?

Well, if for you a job is just a way to get money to survive or to allow you to have the things you like, then we have a bad start point.

You know, to be successful in the professional world, you need to think in another way.

You need to be doing something you like to do. Ok it might not be your dreams, but you need to like it somehow.

Don't be like this guy:

You should face your job with a smile, with your arms open. You need to work! Why shouldn’t you do something you actually like to do? When you work in something you like, you actually get successful! You just need to work for it, and you will for sure if you really like it.

The right job is like a woman (I am a man). If you really love it, if you really fight to achieve your aims, you have more chances to get successful.(Unfortunately, like a woman, if you have a larger bank account it is also easier to get a job…)

The economical issue is important, but first you should try something you like to do, because as I said before, if you like it, you will “rich” it.

Cinema

The cinema is called “the seventh art” because, in century XX, it was auditioned to the other six arts: architecture, literature, painting, music, dance and sculpture. In contrast of what it happens with those, these one have a date to commemorate his birth, the birth of the cinema (December of 1895). It was when the Lumière brothers promoted in Paris the first public session of their invention, the cinematograph, showing daily scenes.

Those days, there were people who said that it was just a matter of time until people stop having interest in it.

Well, as everybody has already noticed, nowadays, cinema is a huge world where amazing things can be made. Every years there are a huge amount of movies being released and others being made.

Due to high technology, in the present, almost everything can be done in a movie. To make a good movie its needed a big team with different jobs.
The ones who appear in the movies are the actors, which are people who represent a character in the movie.

In my opinion this was one of the biggest inventions of the man, because it can show us things beyond our imagination.

I love cinema, almost every kind o movies (action, terror, scientific fiction, animation…I don´t like stupid romances).

Child Labor

The child labor is a form of work where children and adolescents, below of the allowed age to work, are forced to work in order to earn money (most of times not for them).

This work is, in general, forbidden by law. Specifically, the most harmful and cruel forms of work not only are forbidden, but also constitute crime.

This type of work is common in underdeveloped countries. An example of those countries is Africa, where in the poor regions this work is common. The majority of the times this occurs due to the necessity to help the family financially. Many of those families are generally poor people who have many children.

Although there are laws who forbid officially this type of work, it is common in the great cities of underdeveloped.

Parents are officially responsible for their children but the juridical system don´t usually punish them. The action of justice is normally applied to the ones who contracts minors, however those penalties are never applied.

Computer Science

Computer Science studies the theoretical part of computation and its practical implementation into the computer systems.
It has various sub-fields:
- Theory of computation (tries to answer questions such as: 'what can be computed?' and 'what amount of resources are required to perform (that) computation?';
- Theoretical computer science (includes the classical theory of computation and other topics, such as, the logical and mathematical aspects of computing;
- Programming methodology and languages, which includes programming languages (Pascal, Java, C++, etc.) and compilers;
- Computer elements and architecture (includes: digital logic, micro-architecture and multiprocessing);
- Numerical and symbolic computation;
- Human-computer interaction (to make computers easier to use for many people).

A good example of a successful computing project applied to biology is Folding@home. It is being developed by Stanford University and it lets people use their personal computers (or even a playstation 3) to help the scientific community 'to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases.'

Part-time job

A part-time job, as the name says, is a job with less hours of work than a normal full-time job. The number of people working in part-time jobs has been increasing in most of the developed countries.
That increase, in my point of view, is probably because of teens/students who want to earn some money (to buy something they want).
Although part-time jobs have all those good things, they might make some students to study less, since they reduce their free time.

Special Cook

A cook is a person who makes the food in restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc.

A cook´s work is to stay in the kitchen and prepare food for others. Usually, their boss is the chef cook, which is the one in charge of the kitchen.

But sometimes people have special talents… In the next case u can see what a simple cook can do :)

Now you guys should be thinking: "What the **** ???Is this guy stoned???"

Well, i posted this because i think that everyone is unique and as such, each one have his special gifts and talents. This means that people shouldn´t be discriminated just because they don´t have a well remunerable job.

S.W.A.T

In the United States, SWAT is the most common name for a specialized unit of police in the departments of great cities. But, Swat - SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICS - is a based police concept where highly trained and well disciplined soldiers are equipped and trained to be able to reduce the risk associated with an emergency situation.

This can include attacks from specific targets, such as: armed criminals in strong sheltered places, warrants of arrest of high risk and operations with located hostages and deactivation of explosive devices, beyond activities as escort VIP and combat to the “internal enemy” (terrorist infiltrated in ground American). The policemen of the SWAT are equipped with an armament differentiated of the patrol crafts, including submachine guns, carbines and grenades, beyond rifles and snipers.
